The one piece of trivia I know about unicorns is that they're into purity, which disqualifies you pretty much instantly, cap'n.

Look, he was an abusive waste of skin if Steph's behaviour as a little kid was anything to go by, and he was using his visitation weekend to dig dirt on her. I didn't feel like giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Don't beat people up because they call you a name. It's not a hard concept to grasp. You have thicker skin than that and people do it, to get a rise out of you. And it works because you let it.
