So anyway, I should probably tell you I broke a guy's legs last week.

He called me doll-face and I told him what'd happen if he did it again, so really it was his fault. It was during the flood.

You broke someone's father's legs? [He's just.. not even surprised.] You could've just ignored him.

Steph's. And breaking his legs was way more fun than that would've been.

Look, he was an abusive waste of skin if Steph's behaviour as a little kid was anything to go by, and he was using his visitation weekend to dig dirt on her. I didn't feel like giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Don't beat people up because they call you a name. It's not a hard concept to grasp. You have thicker skin than that and people do it, to get a rise out of you. And it works because you let it.
