Honestly, I know I was here before but I must've been wasted the entire time because I don't remember any of it. So fill me in. What happened, what I'd do.

Well, I wish I could say 'welcome back'.

As a Captain you're probably very familiar with discipline. And adventure.

I'm good friends with adventure. [Aha not discipline, what are rules.]

There's not really anything like this place where I'm from as far as I know.

Me neither. But we had prisons and we had ships--and we'd just set up a space station. If you chopped up psychotropic drugs into the food back home, maybe the experience would have been like this.

Where are you from? Or, I guess when might be a better question.

I'm from 2007. Los Angeles, California, if any of those answers mean anything to you--I assume they do. [Since 'USS Enterprise' sounds distinctly Earth-like.]

Wow, that's practically the stone age from where I'm standing.

I spent the last three years in San Fransisco.

Believe me, it feels like it most of the time.

How is the Bay, in your world?
