.072 - a hostile (not) takeover
[Much like when the Admiral makes an announcement, Kirk's voice permeates the entire Barge. Though unlike the Admiral, this voice is pretty easy to pin down. And it's glaringly obvious that it isn't the Admiral.]
Attention people of the Barge, this is Jim Kirk speaking. It's just two things so I'll be brief. The Admiral's not flying this thing right now and you people better start looking for your swimsuits.
[ooc: And this has started! By now Kirk has set their course for Risa. No going back now, suckers. He sealed the way behind him, just fyi]

You reckless, idiotic, lunatic human! I did not sign on to be flown by some amateur. Do you even know the first thing about transdimensional travel? The Blinovich Limitation Effect? Paradox disruptions? Get out of there this instant.

[Narvin is turning red, he's so furious. This is just the sort of thing that the CIA hunts down and imprisons people for.]

Threadjack ho~
Yo, Kirk, man, nice going. Hey, could you like-- make it so only level five gets flown into the sun?

I was going to actively avoid suns, to be honest.

If that's your idea of an assassination attempt, it's a pretty poor one. I've been the target of much better attempts than that.

I'm on my way to the TARDIS to see if I can't find a way to drag him out. And it's the safest place to be if Kirk's piloting goes horribly awry.
A second pair of hands would be very helpful. [Plus, he wants to make sure that Kay will be safe.]
[Private]
Hold back for now.

[But Kay is definitely right about the TARDIS having trouble locking on to the bridge coordinates.]
All right. I'll hold back. [In the TARDIS. Where it's safer.]
[Pause.]
Could you...? ...Wait in the TARDIS with me? Just until we've landed wherever it is he's taking us. I don't want us scattered across the multiverse because Kirk pushed the wrong button.

Re: private
That there might may be death or misery, yes, but unlikely to think he'll do any permanent damage to the ship.
