So.

What'd you crazy kids get up to while I was gone?

[She's spent long periods with Han before; she doesn't really get sick of people.]

[With a bright smile:] Not quite.

[Kirk isn't people. He's special. He grins back at her though.]

"What's up?"

[Leia raises an eyebrow at him.]

They fixed the transporter quite quickly, seems like.

[Jim's smile doesn't even twitch.]

"Scotty is a genius."

He is.

[She remembers how fun it was to hang out with Scotty on the Barge, and seeing him on the Enterprise was a joy.]

Are you going to allow me in?

"Oh right, sorry."

[Kirk moves away from the door.]

"I take it you've heard about what happened last week?"

[Leia steps inside and takes a look around. The quarters are certainly familiar from, ahem, all the time she spent in them.]

Not yet. What happened?

"The Barge broke down. People died. Including Shego."

[Leia's expression immediately changes from the carefree look to a much more serious.]

It broke down? Stopped working?

"I guess so? Uhura won't really give me all of the details of what happened. I just know that it was bad."

[Leia folds her hands neatly in front of her.]

We probably could have helped.

"We probably could have." [He nodded slightly.]

"I don't regret leaving though."

[Leia cocks her head toward him.]

You don't.

[But it's more of a question than a statement.]

"You were worrying me for a while. Not so much anymore."

[Leia just smiles a little bit.]

I'm glad I'm not anymore.

[She remembers melting down in his room the night before they left.]

"Yeah it's good to see your smile again." [So he smiles softly at her.]

"And crying women really freak me out."

[Leia simply clasps her hands behind her back, smiling but glancing away to stare at his quarters.]

These are just like the ones on the Enterprise.

[Jim nods slightly even if she isn't looking at him.]

"Does that surprise you?"

[Leia turns a little to look over at him.]

I didn't recognize them before.

[But now, she certainly did; she recognized almost every nook and cranny of the room.]

"I dunno why you would. Not a lot of people spend time in my personal quarters in either place."

[Leia simply turns back to face his closet, where she distinctly remembers putting some of her clothing. She opens it slowly and, of course, her things aren't there but she's still somewhat marveling at how it's here on the Barge and almost so complete.]

Now I do.

[Jim shrugs a little bit.]

"You're clearly my favorite."

[Leia glances at him with a small smile.]

Of course.

"Thanks for being cool around the crew, by the way."

[And by that he meant, acting normal around Bones and Spock and Scotty even though they clearly didn't remember her."

[Leia turns so she can completely face him, hands folded neatly in front of her again.]

It was interesting to meet them under... different circumstances.
