Alright seriously.

When do we get shore leave? Make port. Whatever you want to call it. I think it's time we all got a little break.

Who the hell is steering this thing anyway?

You know, I'd really like to know that myself. Even accounting for the floods, this 'Admiral' must be tremendously accomplished to pilot a vessel this size in these conditions. Either that or there's a larger crew we don't know about, or some sort of artificial intelligence mainframe that controls the way the Barge moves and behaves...do we even know if the Admiral is a real person? A human? Has anybody met him?

I haven't been able to reformat my equipment for these conditions yet, or else I'd be able to answer a few of these questions for myself...I mean, everything I have has been retuned to function on Earth...

...sorry for the outburst. That was rude.

Oh no.

I don't mind at all. Please continue.

Erm, well. Back where I'm from, I was part of a team which monitored a rift in spacetime. I haven't taken any coherent readings yet but from my own observations, the 'waters' we're travelling through seem to be a little like the Rift, except...far moreso. As if it's a rift through all possible realities. The thing is, moving through spacetime is a rough trip - I don't understand how any single entity could conceive, build and control something so large and populous.

And I've been told that it's bigger on the inside than it is on the outside, which makes me think that the Barge might be sort of a universe unto itself, but then that would explain how it would be possible to...make port. If I could see the schematics or the central database then I might be able to understand it, I want to understand it, but this is really like nothing I've seen before.

I think it's safe to say that none of us have seen anything like it. If it baffles my Russian, then it can't be matched.

If you ever get a look at it, let me know?

I never got your name by the way.

...your Russian?

Erm, my name's Toshiko. Toshiko Sato. I'm...new here.

Well, I don't own him but he's a part of my crew and sometimes I think of him as like my little brother.

Welcome then. Would you like a tour?

Well, erm, somebody else offered - an inmate, a Mr. Stinson? But nothing really happened there and I'm not even sure if his warden would approve of him doing something like that? I...don't know all the rules just yet.

...sorry. If you've got nothing else to do, it...would be good.

Oh no. You can't get a tour from an Inmate. They don't get to go to all the cool places like us Wardens do. You're a Warden right? I don't really care either way, it's just nice to know more about you.

I'd love to show you around.

I'm a Warden, yes. If you really don't mind, then...I'm sure we could meet up somewhere.
