[She turns and gives him a smile, and if her magic pinging a bit of an alarm about his intentions... Pfft. She can handle herself if things go south. Totally.]

Hi--James, right?

"James." [He nods with that confirmation.] "This is your first time here, I can tell."

[She laughs.] Am I that obvious?

"Nah, I've just been here that long. " [He offers her an arm like a true gentleman.] "Shall we?"

And how long is 'that long?' [She smiles and takes his arm.]

[This is too easy.] "'Bout six months, give or take. Haven't found a reason to leave yet."

We probably won't be here for long--we're really just passing through.

"Where are you all headed then?"

We're mostly just traveling--out to see the galaxy. No particular destination in mind. The universe is full of wonderful things and we'd just like to see some of them.

[That makes him frown a little bit because who in the hell is out to see the galaxy these days? And if that is true, what are they really doing here? This is really not a tourist spot, the last he checked. A few seconds later, he decides that he doesn't really care because she's not going to keep on that tour if he has his way.]

"How many of you are there on your ship?"

Hm. I'm not really sure, actually. A hundred or so? Maybe more?

[He would've liked it bigger. Less chance that someone would've noticed she was gone.] "Are y'all related then? Or how'd you come together?"

[She laughs.] No, we're not related. Just traveling together because it's easier than traveling alone, really.
