So.
What'd you crazy kids get up to while I was gone?

She didn't shrug his hand off, just squirmed out from under it and shifted over to the opposite edge of the bed like a cat who was particularly offended at being petted.
"Nobody. The death toll stopped working when the lights went out, people just stayed dead. When the power came back on, everybody who died got revived at the same time, I guess. Nobody had to ask to revive me."

"I'm not insulting your ability to deal. I'm just saying I wish I'd been here to help."

She tucked her hands behind her head and decided to announce the subject of her recent experiences to be officially closed.
"So what'd you do on space vacation, anyways?"

Re: SPAMMM
She was still a little pissed at him for going. Although she trusted him (kinda), she didn't trust the mechanics of the Barge or the Admiral (now less than ever). He had no way of knowing that the second they left the Barge, he and Leia wouldn't have forgotten ever having been there. As far as Shego was concerned he was knowingly taking that risk every time he went out on one of these dumb expeditions. So even with all the talk of fussing she was forced to conclude that he didn't really care all that much.

"I don't think I'm going back for a while. They seem to have things under control. And I don't think Leia's going to have another nervous breakdown for a long time either."
Re: SPAMMM
"Are you ever gonna be okay with going back to the Enterprise full-time? I mean, seriously? With everything McCoy and your Vulcan just...forgot about?"
SPAMMM
"I'm not sure. It was... weird being back there."

Shego was going to point out that if he lost his memories of the Barge, not only would they cease to be a part of him, but he wouldn't even be aware of the loss - but her head hurt and she didn't feel like pursuing that line of thought any further. Her mind felt ragged at the edges, like the inner engine had burnt something away that hadn't healed yet.
"So. I'm okay. You're okay. We're okay. So you can go now," she said, too abruptly, not caring that she had obviously run out of her capacity to pretend she was anything other than drunk and in pain. "I'm gonna sleep some more. Don't drink my vodka."

"Alright," Kirk said softly, reaching out to squeeze her shoulder. "Sleep well. I'm going to come check on you first thing in the morning."
