[Alright so, the idea of giving Shego space because she pretty much said to him that she hated who he was now, kind of backfired. Alright, so it really backfired because giving her space more or less translated into ignoring her and Jim felt pretty guilty for that. So even though it made him borderline uncomfortable-- he knew he was keeping himself at a distance from just about everyone. That wasn't something he even tried to deny--he was just going to give Shego as much attention as possible this weekend.

By basically kidnapping her and sequestering her in his quarters.

This was going to be a long weekend.]

"So. Wanna make a costume or something?"

Shego started glancing around the room for something she could kill herself with. "Such as?"

"A drinking game?" And Kirk didn't really think that he was kidding about that either.

In Shego's opinion, dragging her off to his room and then suggesting a drinking game when he knew about her vastly inferior alcohol tolerance was pushing Jim out of 'creepy' and into flat-out 'date rapist'. But she didn't say that, because if he was going to be this insufferable then she'd rather be tipsy while it happened....and she at trusted him at least enough to know that he wouldn't do anything more nefarious than maybe draw on her face with a Sharpie if she passed out.

"Okay."

In all fairness, Shego, Kirk had had very little to drink in the year and a half that he'd been a starship captain. Only ever on shore leave and even then, he didn't let himself get totally smashed. In case of emergencies where he'd be needed. So while he was probably still a lot better at drinking than her, he wouldn't really be able to tank it.

He probably wouldn't even try to draw on her face either.

Kirk smirked somewhat at that and nodded as he got up to go get his set of glasses and some whiskey. Because that was all he had. "What do you want to drink to?"

"Strangely enough, Jimmy, I don't know any drinking games because I don't have a past history of borderline alcoholism."

Jim rolled his eyes again. "Never have I ever is pretty easy."

"Yeah, okay. Just no asking me lame questions that you already know the answers to like last time, got it?"

"Okay but if I forgot something about you then I apologize in advance. And you can't do stupid ones that you know about me either."

She shrugged. "Fair. You first, slick."

"Never have I ever... been intoxicated while on duty."

It was fitting.

Shego leaned back and folded her arms.

"Nope, me either. Take a shot."

Kirk took the shot like a pro, pouring himself another one. Maybe it was good that he'd gone first. To keep the playing field level as possible. "You go next."

"Yeah."

Shego paused. All of the questions she wanted to ask him couldn't really be couched in yes-or-no terms. Wasn't there an alcohol fuelled version of Truth or Dare?

"Never have I ever..." She shrugged. "Cheated on my homework."

Clearly not a lot of brain thought has gone into this game.

Kirk took another shot because he figured that the Kobayashi Maru counted as cheating on his homework.

"Never have I ever not been yelled at by my superiors for ignoring their orders."

She picked up her glass, then glanced at him. "Wait, what kind of double-negative ridiculousness is that? Are you asking me if I've ever ignored orders and not been yelled at or what?"

Jim laughed at that. "No I'm asking if you're ever ignored orders and got caught. By Drakkan, not me."

"Oh. Pssht. I'm gonna say no. It doesn't count as being caught if I walk out on one of his dumb plots right where he can see me."

Jim laughed again at that, and took his shot. This was unfair, that he'd had three now and she didn't have any. "Then never have I ever taken part in a dumb plot."

"Screw you, it's my turn. Also? We agreed no questions you already know the answer to." She sat back, crossing her legs. "Never have I ever..."

Meh. She wanted a drink already, so she threw him a 90% certainty.

"...gotten on with my family."

Jim stared at her for a long moment, pretty sure that she had at least liked one of her brothers for even half a second before he sighed, decided to let that one go and take another shot. It'd been more than twenty years but he was a big fan of his brother when he was really little.

"Never have I ever.. been a huge fan of this game."

Shego hadn't disliked them. Sometimes. But she didn't remember having a civil conversation with any of them either. And at Kirk's challenge, she lifted an eyebrow.

"Neither have I, but I'm gonna spare you that one if you're just making a point."

"It's way more fun when you're just trying to make people get drunk," Kirk agreed, starting to feel those four shots in like fifteen minutes he'd had now. And yeah, he really missed this feeling sometimes.

"I already know a lot about you, Shego. There's not a lot ask you."

"Yes, please, continue shoving that fact down my throat. Sometimes I forget you know my entire life history." She poured herself a generous shot but just sipped at it.

"Then start asking questions and we'll level the field a little bit."

"Whatever, I thought your whole life was just a plot by ~the Universe~ to get you in as Captain of the Enterprise?"
