[Alright so, the idea of giving Shego space because she pretty much said to him that she hated who he was now, kind of backfired. Alright, so it really backfired because giving her space more or less translated into ignoring her and Jim felt pretty guilty for that. So even though it made him borderline uncomfortable-- he knew he was keeping himself at a distance from just about everyone. That wasn't something he even tried to deny--he was just going to give Shego as much attention as possible this weekend.

By basically kidnapping her and sequestering her in his quarters.

This was going to be a long weekend.]

"So. Wanna make a costume or something?"

"Hey, I've got my costume right here." She reached down to the pouch strapped to her boot and produced a black domino mask. "I'm gonna be a mysterious supervillain."

Jim arched an eyebrow in response to that, looking wholly unimpressed for a second before he decided that was pretty ironically creative. About on the same level as his idea to switch pips with T'Pol. So basically lame but at least it entertained someone.

"Wow I'm terrified," Kirk responded dryly. "Why do you have a pouch attached to your boot?" Because that was more interesting.

"Because I have yet to find a purse that coordinates with this look," Shego said, just as dry.

"You need a purse for your eye mask?"

"Duh, I need somewhere to just keep stuff. If you can't understand that, just dismiss it as some crazy chick thing."

Jim stared at the thing on her boot with a small frown for a few more seconds. Just because he could. "What do you want to do then?"

"I don't know. None of the plans I might have had really involved being in your room. Why am I here?"

Jim hesitated for half a second because he was pretty sure saying 'Uhura made me feel guilty for basically abandoning you all last weekend' wouldn't go over well. "I just figured we haven't really spent a lot of quality time together in a while."

"Uh huh. Well, I can tell you that in my experience? Kidnapping somebody really isn't going to lead to much quality time."

"You kidnap a lot of people?" Kirk retorted, mostly in a teasing manner. "Is spending time with me really that awful?"

"It is when you're being all gung-ho and creepy about it. And to answer your other question? Not recently, but yeah, actually I kidnapped a bunch of people."

"How am I being creepy about it?" Kirk asked, deciding for the moment to let the kidnapping thing go.

"You really can't think how grabbing somebody and just dragging them off to your room for no good reason might seem a little bit weird?"

"I'm pretty sure quality time between Warden and Inmate, especially when said Inmate has complained about not knowing said Warden after a long separation is a pretty good reason," Jim replied dryly.

She was going to point out that Jim 2.0 had yet to prove himself as someone she even wanted to know, but she bit that back and just stared at him for a few seconds instead.

"...Is this because you dumped me with no money in the middle of Salem for four days? Are you just trying to make up for lost time - I'm sorry, lost 'quality time'? Is that why you're doing this?"

Sometimes he really loved it that Shego was smart and could read between the lines of what he was thinking. Jim was pretty sure this wasn't one of those times.

"Salem might have been the catalyst but it wasn't the entire problem."

"Whatever. Since obviously I've got no input into this, what do you want to do?"

Jim rolled his eyes a little bit at that. "We could... play a game?"

Shego started glancing around the room for something she could kill herself with. "Such as?"

"A drinking game?" And Kirk didn't really think that he was kidding about that either.

In Shego's opinion, dragging her off to his room and then suggesting a drinking game when he knew about her vastly inferior alcohol tolerance was pushing Jim out of 'creepy' and into flat-out 'date rapist'. But she didn't say that, because if he was going to be this insufferable then she'd rather be tipsy while it happened....and she at trusted him at least enough to know that he wouldn't do anything more nefarious than maybe draw on her face with a Sharpie if she passed out.

"Okay."

In all fairness, Shego, Kirk had had very little to drink in the year and a half that he'd been a starship captain. Only ever on shore leave and even then, he didn't let himself get totally smashed. In case of emergencies where he'd be needed. So while he was probably still a lot better at drinking than her, he wouldn't really be able to tank it.

He probably wouldn't even try to draw on her face either.

Kirk smirked somewhat at that and nodded as he got up to go get his set of glasses and some whiskey. Because that was all he had. "What do you want to drink to?"

"Strangely enough, Jimmy, I don't know any drinking games because I don't have a past history of borderline alcoholism."

Jim rolled his eyes again. "Never have I ever is pretty easy."

"Yeah, okay. Just no asking me lame questions that you already know the answers to like last time, got it?"
