[Getting to Uhura's room is something of a challenge but she manages it. With her pants bundled off to one side and in shirts that are way too big on her and hide her curves.

Which is just not going to fly. Kirk wants to enjoy it while she can.

So he knocks on Uhura's door, impatiently waiting for it to open.]

[Thankfully, before the change, Uhura had left Spock's room to go to his own for a moment and had been there when the flood came. So he simply waited there, wrapped up on his bed in a blanket, looking particularly sour. When the knock came, he called out.]

It's open...

[If it was someone other than Kirk, they were getting a manly fist to the face. She was in no mood.]

[Kirk slips in, rolling her eyes at Uhura just a little bit because of the look on his face.]

"It's not that bad," [she announced... as she let go of her pants and let them fall right off.]

[Uhura shouldn't have been surprised, but he was. He just turned away after a moment and held out a hand.] Just give them to me.

And yes, it is that bad.

[Kirk tossed him the pants that he'd been wearing, and another pair and the shirts that she'd been carrying. Not the shirts off of her back yet, as she didn't really own a bra.]

"How is it that bad?"

[He quickly scrambled off the bed and pulled on the pants, still shirtless. He hadn't exactly been able to wear what he had owned previously. Walking to his closet, he pulled out a few articles of clothing and handed them to her.]

Please put them on.

And it is that bad because I don't want to be a man!

"Please. It doesn't matter if you see anything. This isn't going to last."

[But Kirk turned her back before she shed the shirts, tossing them over and then pulling on that minidress that she'd ogled many a female officers in. She didn't realize that it was that short. Interesting. Very interesting.]

"You make an attractive man. That's more than some people can say."

[He found a shirt and paused for a moment before slipping it on.] Yes, Captain, I picked that dress out just for you. And, I could get used to being able to walk around with no shirt on.

[A joke. A tiny joke but...a joke just the same.]

"It's breezier than I was expecting."

[She smooths her palms against the skirt before turning to grin at Uhura.]

"You could do that as a woman and no one would complain either."

[Feeling in a rare mood, he merely snorted at that.]

I would mind. And I'm sure Spock would not appreciate it, either. Here...[He pulled out the shoes and set them down.]

You might as well wear those, too.

"Spock needs to learn to share."

[Kirk grabbed the boots, staring at them for a moment before shrugging and bending over slightly to struggle with putting them on. They weren't really anything like her normal ones.]

"Can I borrow underwear if I promise to burn it after?"

[He sighed for a moment and nodded. Underwear, yes. He would just go without, thank you very much. But, as for Kirk...she could suffer. He smirked and pulled out two matching sets- red and black- thong and all. Ones that were too small, so they were rarely worn.]

Here. Enjoy. I thought the colors might help you attract...well, whatever it is that you're looking for.

[Kirk turned the underwear over in her hands a couple times, looking pleasantly intrigued.]

"Nothing wrong with trying this body out."

[He wrinkled his nose and just shook his head.] On second thought, burn the dress when this flood is over. I have two others and...I don't need to think about what you did.

"If you take off my clothes around anyone else, please do the same."

[He gave his Captain an annoyed look.] I have doubts that will happen, Captain.

Make sure that you get makeup from someone. [He gave Kirk a grin that still seemed quite "innocent."]

[Kirk scowled at him.]

"I'm kind of a knock out without it. I dunno if you noticed."

[He just laughed. He knew that Kirk was right, but still...he had to find amusement somehow. Even if it was at Kirk's expense.]

Just wait until you wake up in the morning. Or after you take a shower.

"I've already taken a shower."

[Yeah. That of shower. She had to get to know the lay of the land after all.]

"Try not to be too jealous of how much better at being a woman than you I am."

[Uhura kind of wanted to vomit. She was such a child!]

When you end up pregnant, don't come crying to me.

"Please, I'll throw myself down a flight of stairs if I ever feel even faintly nauseous."

[The sad part was that she wasn't kidding. But she didn't want children when she was a boy either. And had done a pretty good job of avoiding it, as far as she was aware.]

"I know how to have safe sex, Uhura. Calm down."

[He only waved a hand and walked to his desk, putting it all away. Now that he had clothes, he planned on going...somewhere.]
