.052 - Video Post

[This is very clearly addressed to McCoy but still PUBLIC So you all know how serious he is.]

I'm getting a little bored with this game of hide and seek, McCoy. And since I seem to be surrounded by completely incompetent idiots...

[Long pause with a look that says it all. YES THIS IS AIMED AT YOU, UHURA AND SPOCK.

And he's back to business.]

I made a new game for us.

[He shifts out of the way of the camera, to show you all an unconscious Shego on the ground. She looks pretty roughed up, bruises, cuts and jizz in her hair the like.

Kirk leans back in and smiles in a totally EVIL CREEPY WAY.]

If you aren't at my quarters in an hour or less but not a second more, I'll kill her. And it won't be quick or pretty. And if you bring any of your little friends, I'm gonna have to cut on you and them a little bit.

[THE END.]

[ooc: So with Naomi's permission, we've assumed that Kirk has caught Shego, roughed her up a bit and then sedated her with one of the hypos that Bones left in his room, LOLIRONY and now he's using her as bait in his clearly obvious trap. No, he's not actually going to kill Shego, that's too much work for his lazy ass. Feel free to yell at him or cheer him on but all of the action is for Bones, kthanks. <3

PS: There will probably be graphic violence in this post. YOU ARE WARNED.

EDIT: Sorry to cock-block anyone! T'was not my intention. You will have your chance to beat on Kirk/plot against him later this week, I promise <3]

"Does it matter?" [Kirk retorted, narrowing his eyes a little bit.] "He's dead. I'm not sorry it happened. That's all."

It does matter. A kid trying to protect himself and a kid who lets his bitterness consume him- yeah, those are different. [He answered lowly.]

"Maybe I was just pointing out the terrible mistake my mother made in marrying him." [Kirk said, almost too calmly.] "He was a drunk with anger issues. I was doing the world a favor."

Oh, so it was out of the goodness of your heart. [McCoy snapped.] I don't suppose he ran your brother off too.

"Maybe I killed my brother too." [Kirk said testily because he really didn't see what this had to do with anything.]

"You're very bad at guessing. Nothing special yet."

Maybe because Jim suffered through plenty of shit and managed to stay a good man. [McCoy bowed his head a moment- he was beginning to feel light headed again. He capped the feeling best he could and looked back to Kirk.

He couldn't believe it was so simple, using Shego, torturing her for this twisted place, stabbing him for kicks or to make a point. The same kid who risked his life for others all the damned time in space, saved the world and nearly died alone several times in the process. McCoy kept expecting to see some crack, something underneath to prove he wasn't just a madman.

And wouldn't it all be worse if he could see Jim in the man? He clenched his jaw.] Tell me this then, why do you hate McCoy?

"Your definition of good is biased. It's not a concept that you can apply universally and expect everyone to play along with it. I value different things than you do. That doesn't make me wrong." [Kirk pointed out.]

"He's always been an antagonistic fuck. It grates on the nerves after a while."

Any planet, any damned morality would realize the value of life. [McCoy shot back.] Anyone would come here and see what they're asking of you as corruption, plain and simple. It's about what he can do for you isn't it? Tell me a good man would sell someone else's soul for a favor.

[He let out a breath.] Funny, that never scared Jim away.

"I think you can get a man to do anything you want if the reward is exactly what he wants. The Admiral is helping me, yes but not in the way you're thinking."

[Kirk shrugged a little bit.] "Yet. He hasn't been scared away yet."

Then how is it really? What's the price for Shego's soul?

[McCoy couldn't help but snort. Normally that would strike his insecurities hard but the mind meld and their relationship since made it a little easier to scoff.] Trust me kid, it's more complicated than that.

"This is kinda like that cliched moment when the bad guy reveals all of his evil plans isn't it?" [Kirk asked, mostly rhetorically as he stepped closer to McCoy.]

"I don't really get to have a lot of these moments. It's interesting. Kinda fun."

[Once he was right up in McCoy's face, he leaned in slightly, pressing his mouth to the doctor's ear.] "I hate the Empire. The idea of working for it makes me physically ill. And if it's the last thing that I ever do, I'm going to tear it down, corrupt brick by corrupt brick and then build it back up the way I want it to be."

[McCoy eyed him warily, keeping his place out of sheer stubbornness more than anything else. Whatever he was expecting to come out of the man's mouth that wasn't it, eyes widening a fraction in surprise.]

And how do you want it to be? [He asked, pulling slightly to the side.]

[Kirk followed him when he tried to move away, a smirk playing at the corners of his lips.]

"I'd tell you to guess if you weren't so bad at it."

[He grabbed onto McCoy's chin and dug his fingers into one of the wounds there.] "Don't you want the Empire gone, doctor?"

[McCoy's brow furrowed as Kirk's fingers reopened the wound on his jaw, taking a moment to try and slap his grip away.]

There's an old saying back home about going with the evil you know rather than the evil you don't. If the Empire is just going to be replaced with a new, more ruthless Alexander then no, I'd rather it destroy itself. It will one day, all empires fall.

spam - why the hell are you still awake?

[identity profile] captain-jtkirk.livejournal.com 2010-01-13 04:48 pm (UTC)(link)
"You're right. It is going to fall and I'm going to be there to pick up the pieces and I'm going to prove you and the history books wrong. My empire's going to last. You know me, McCoy. You know that I thrive on accomplishing the impossible."

[He tightened his grip on McCoy's chin when the doctor tried to slap it away.] "I feel like this should go without saying but if you pass this conversation on to anyone, I won't save you a second time."

spam - I got up at 7. fucked up right?

[McCoy watched him closely. For the first time he was really seeing something of Jim in his counterpart, that insatiable need to win.] You can't live forever Kirk, as stubborn and bullheaded as you are this 'empire' of yours is doomed just like the rest. [Sure he believed Jim could do it, in any reality for that matter, but there were natural laws and movements that even Jim Kirk couldn't influence.]

Don't you mean spare? [He spat out, eyes narrowing.] Why the hell did you tell me if there was even a chance I would?

"To see if you would," [Kirk said cheekily, looking smug.] "See how much that heart of yours bleeds because of me."

spam - life is hard ok. normal sleeping hours. idk what to do about that

[identity profile] hyposprayed.livejournal.com 2010-01-14 05:46 am (UTC)(link)
Not because of you. [McCoy scowled at the smug look.] That's some damn gamble on your part. [Even if Kirk was basically right. Besides maybe T'Pol McCoy had no intention of telling Spock or Uhura, the only two people who could truly use it against him. Maybe he wanted to believe Jim would make something better.]

And where does your crew fit in to your grand master plan?

spam - you are not on a normal sleep schedule. You were up til 3

[identity profile] captain-jtkirk.livejournal.com 2010-01-14 05:59 am (UTC)(link)
"It's not really that much of a gamble." [Since he'd kill McCoy and his crew and anyone else that cared if McCoy told anyone. And he'd go after their families and friends and he was sure they all knew that.

Which is why no one would really care if they were smart.]

"If they have a problem with it, I'll kill them. And they know that."

spam - eh. normal for me at least.

[identity profile] hyposprayed.livejournal.com 2010-01-14 06:31 am (UTC)(link)
They're not part of your grad ploy? [McCoy asked, pushing away from Kirk again now that he had the chance.]

"Everyone outlives their usefulness sometime." [Kirk cast a glance over his shoulder at Shego and then back at McCoy.]

"You have two minutes to get her and yourself out of here before I change my mind and kill you."
