God, I can feel my hips breaking just sitting here.
[Private to Shego.]
Tell me you're okay and not psychologically damaged or something.

"If I'm still like this in a week, I won't be but I've been turned into a five year old, some chess nerd king and I was afraid that a bunch of invisible needles were watching me. All since I've been here. I think I can handle it."

It was a strange sensation, like a rush of thoughts and feelings and god knew what else making it hard to breath. Then suddenly he was Kirk and Kirk was him and everything made perfect sense. As quickly as it came he lost it, going too far, too fast, and he pulled back- jerked almost, nearly toppling off the bed when he finally pulled his hand away and was fully and completely himself. It was almost lonely.
He stared for a few moments, at T'Pol's hand then Jim, then the hand again.] Jesus. [He muttered a little breathlessly, closing his eyes.]

Though.
He really wasn't expecting the depth of the emotions that he got from Bones. Emotional transference was to be expected, he knew that.
But.
Bones cared about him. He cared a lot.
He stared back at Bones before he finally said,]
"That was way better the second time."

Jim Jesus you- [He paused, running his hands through T'Pol's hair.] Lord I was you. [He let that sink in for a moment, still obviously grappling with it when he spoke again, no bite to the words.] You- you're a damned idiot.
