[Kirk isn't entirely convinced that Spock isn't a part of this, the conspiracy to... do something to him. He doesn't know what it is but it's something.

His self preservation instincts are also at an even lower low right now so he goes to answer the door.]

[Spock is as calm as ever when Jim answers the door. He does not move except to incline his head to the side slightly. Nothing that he thinks will threaten the Captain.]

[Kirk flinches anyway and takes a hesitant step back.]

[Very carefully and slowly, he steps inside the room.

Almost gently:] Has anything been moved, sir?

[Kirk retreats backwards, keeping a distance between them. He's paranoid but he hasn't got a single thought about attacking first.]

[He does not make any move to attack, not yet. He is quick, much quicker than Jim, and has no doubt he can do it any time he wishes.]

Kirk kind of gestures in the direction of his bed and the wall. Everything over there clearly has been touched.]

[When Jim turns his back on Spock, he gets nerve-pinched.

[And Kirk crumples like a ragdoll.

[Spock finds a lever or something. He's ingenious.

Anyway, Jim will wake up on his bed to find his first officer sitting quite calmly at the desk.]

[Did you grope him too?

Kirk wakes up with a groan, rolling over onto his back for a few moments before he seems to realize that Spock is there and then he groans.]

New rule, you're not allowed to do that to me anymore.

[Kirk doesn't respond right away, too busy putting everything into place that's happened. Then he sits up and looks over at Spock with a frown.]

[Spock is referring to his and Vesper's exchange on his communicator, to double-check.]

It seems Ms. Ivy has attacked people before, and since she did not kill you, or force you to kill someone, he considers it progress.

[Kirk remembers reading that conversation, just none of it really clicked until now.]

You've got to be kidding me. [He sounds rightly ticked because really, all he did was flirt.]

Progress would not be doing it in the first place.

Precisely. [Okay he does sound maybe annoyed.] I would advise you to keep away from this individual.

[captain_jtkirk]

[Kirk rolls his eyes and doesn't bother to address that piece of advice as he reaches around for his communicator to see what he missed while unconscious.]

And nerve pinches hurt, Pointy.

[Perfectly smooth, and he gets up.]

[Or. It's from being dropped like a sack of potatoes. Kirk acts like he didn't hear that at all, as he finishes reading the most recent comments to the network. Strangely, he misses Bones suddenly, for reasons that he can't really say.]
