A Message From Your New Captain
[Much like when the Admiral makes his announcements, the voice of one James T. Kirk floods the hallways and rooms of the Barge and he sounds oh so very pleased with himself.]
Attention people of the Barge.
We've had ourselves a little adventure recently and I won't bore you with the details because it's a long though at times, riveting tale. So I'll just cut to the chase: our dear Admiral isn't running this thing anymore.
I am.
James T. Kirk for those of you haven't had the pleasure. Along with Captain Harkness and Captain Solo who is taking control of the helm.
And yeah. That's all.
Have a nice day.
[ooc: Plot questions go here. IC freak outs or congratulations or WTFGETDOWNFROMTHERE happen here.]

Yes, I've read the file. I still think that if you wanted to talk about your problems, then you can come to me and we'll talk and I'll try to help you but if you aren't going to make the effort to get yourself out of here, then I hardly want to waste my breath on someone who isn't going to listen and isn't willing to change.

The only changes I have EVER made have been by myself, because nearly every Warden I have ever had is too incompetent to realize what their course entails!
And you assume I have the slightest idea as to where I could begin, as though I'M the one of the two of us that chose to come here! I haven't a clue what counts for crime on a cosmic level as opposed to a human one, and I'll be damned if I confine myself to such a relative line of morality as that!

If I'd come to you and said we were going to talk about your problems and feelings and everything that was wrong with you until it was fixed, you wouldn't have liked it. We both know that any change you're going to make it of your own decision and it won't matter how much I nag you about it if you don't want to listen.
So tell me, what do you think you're here for then?

I take it back. You're not cured until you can learn to take responsibility for your own actions.
If you want to spend the rest of your days never being at fault and always being the victim to everyone else's offenses, then be my guest but then I want an Inmate that I can actually help.

So tell me, wise young Captain, what actions of mine I have not taken responsibility for?
