The actual answer to this was 'I know it's insulting but I don't really care; having respect for you and treating you with respect are two different conceits as far as I'm concerned'. But that didn't feel like it'd fly here.
She was quiet for a long time.
"It doesn't have anything to do with respect, okay? I don't think of it like that. It's just - easier. To lie."
Shego didn't have a huge amount to say to that so she didn't try. And she didn't even want to try to work out if telling him about her night of experimental vigilantism would make him more or less angry at this point.
He was only leaving here in there overnight? She had already kind of mentally budgeted for three or four days. But she hauled back the 'Really?' on the tip of her tongue and just nodded.
