"Says the guy who claims he got lost in a major capital city because he was following a girl."
Shego hesitates a moment, then shrugs and locks the door behind her. Two years is probably a record for an Inmate with a history of violence. She walks past him, heading to the stairwell.
"So I've got this clear, is this for the B&E or because I hurt your feelings by not telling you about it?"
"It's because you are better than this shit and if you're going to keep playing stupid with me because I don't sit down with a checklist of specific questions to ask about your bad behavior, then fine. You know that I expect honesty from you, no matter what you do. Omitting the truth is still lying."
"You had plenty of opportunity to tell me it happened before he did." Jim held his PADD against the door, and pulled open the door for her, gesturing for her to go ahead and walk first.
Shego just rolled her eyes and took the one closest to the door, then lay down on the bed, tucking her hands behind her head. She didn't bother asking when he would let her out. Had to assume it wouldn't be the full week, since...well, it wouldn't leave him with a whole lot of places to go if she did something that actually deserved time in Zero.
"Kirk, look at it from my perspective. If I tell you the truth, you might pull your punches but I get punished anyway. If I lie to you, there's a chance you never find out and a chance that whatever punishment I get is worse because I lied. I'll take the odds."
The actual answer to this was 'I know it's insulting but I don't really care; having respect for you and treating you with respect are two different conceits as far as I'm concerned'. But that didn't feel like it'd fly here.
She was quiet for a long time.
"It doesn't have anything to do with respect, okay? I don't think of it like that. It's just - easier. To lie."
Shego didn't have a huge amount to say to that so she didn't try. And she didn't even want to try to work out if telling him about her night of experimental vigilantism would make him more or less angry at this point.
He was only leaving here in there overnight? She had already kind of mentally budgeted for three or four days. But she hauled back the 'Really?' on the tip of her tongue and just nodded.

She waved vaguely at him from the bed.
"Later."
