So Admiral.

Imagine my everlasting shame when it was brought to my attention that you haven't had your physical yet. A man of your age and experience should know that they are vital to a man's health.

You need to report to the Infirmary. Right now. Or else I'm going to be forced to take drastic measures.

[ooc: Kirkling found the medical files. So he snooped. And is using that to win his bet with Bones FOREVER.]

Kirk snorted from his chair, even as it was riddling him with jealousy that the other Kirk knew that about Bones. His Bones wasn't supposed to be like the other one. His Spock wasn't like the other one. He wasn't like the Kirk getting the physical. That clearly meant that Bones wasn't allowed to be the same.

"That doesn't stop the rest of us from trying anyway," Peter said with a soft smile, making some notes on a clipboard.

"I'm going to test your reflexes and then I think we'll be done."

Jim shot the captain a look. He couldn't make out his expression, but he hoped the younger Kirk wasn't getting what he wanted out of this.

"Excellent," he said, still keeping an eye on his counterpart.

Peter started tapping at the Admiral's reflex points, nodding to himself at each one.

But of course, Kirk didn't care about that. He frowned back at the Admiral. "Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Like what?" Jim asked innocently.

"Like you think I'm scheming."

Jim shifted on the bed, leaning forward to point his finger at the captain. "Because I know that look."

Perhaps they weren't the same, but there were some things a parallel universe hadn't changed.

Peter hadn't gotten all of the Admiral's reflex points but he was just going to call it. He seemed in good health and he didn't want to get in the middle of them. That was something he'd leave entirely to McCoy. "You're free to go, Admiral. Clean bill of health."

Kirk stood at Peter departed, crossing his arms over his chest. "I'm not scheming against you, old man. You just happened to help me out."

The admiral pulled on his jacket and too his time about doing it up, ignoring his counterpart until he was finished.

"Oh? And just how might I have helped you out?"

"Bones wanted you to have a physical and I wanted to win my bet with him. Which I'm pretty sure I just did. So thanks."

"Well..." Jim considered this and then broke into a smile, "who am I to hinder anyone from winning one over one Bones..."
