[ it takes sulu approximately twenty seconds to pull his shit together and get out of his room to meet the captain. if he's going to do this, then he's going to do it like the starfleet lieutenant that he is. with dignity and all that shit. the ball is rolling, and jim is calling his bluff, but sulu's not folding, not for this.

he arrives in front of jim's room, pulling off the tape pressed against the door with a raised eyebrow before he knocks. ]

[Kirk is almost positive that there's something Sulu isn't telling him and has thought about ordering him to tell him, only he doesn't really want to pull the rank thing with Sulu. Not here.

So he goes to answer the door, smiling at his helmsman a little.]

Did you bring me a note?

It was on your door.

[ he hands it over. and he's not staring, he swears. ]

[Kirk is staring at the note so he doesn't really notice that Sulu is staring at him. He laughs after a moment, and nudges Sulu aside so he can step out into the hall and put the note on Shego's door.]

Come on, Sulu, there's even a pub here.

[ alcohol won't loosen his tongue, jimbo. ]

You might not be able to give me a tour if we head there first.

[ but lead the way. ]
