.003 - mass comminique here

Well that didn't take long.

Derek, let's talk.

[Private to Vesper and Bond separately]

Thank you.

[Private to Bruce]

So where's my apology?

[Private to Ivy]

Nice.

[Private to Spock, Prefect, and Shego separately]

You make it through the port okay?

[He slept, for the record.]

[Do you see this eyebrow arch? Do you? Good. Because EPIC SLEEPING POWERS. Really, Jim. Really.]

We were stranded in a town for four days. It appears there were several malevolent forces present there that interfered with our ability to communicate with each other, made several attempts on passengers' lives, and there were at least two casualties. I was in a deserted section.

[Which is to say, no monsters.]

No. I was accompanied by Aya.

[At times he thought the Enterprise was there too, because the voices from the communicator had been so convincing. The Captain's voice too, calling for help. It had been awful.]

You were very fortunate, Captain.

Being asleep aboard the ship is much more preferable a situation than... the port.

[Except this Spock has only been your first officer for barely a day before getting here. He has no evidence for the 'gut feeling' that Kirk will be first off the ship when there's danger, save for the incident with Nero. Hence his caution.]

Even so, sir.

[One incident is hardly proof of a fact, and Spock just sounds tired, in his own way.]

According to my data, we should make port again in a few weeks.

'Weird' implies impropriety. There is only one instance I am aware of where these two adjectives apply to the same person, and I can assure you, it is not myself.

You, naturally.

[If this was a secret plan to get Spock to overcome his fatigue and irritation from the port, it worked brilliantly.]
logistical: (better than you)

You are very weird and helpful sometimes.

'Funny' cannot be measured objectively in any culture, and as such, that frees me from the task of correction.

[Spock speak for 'Damn straight.']
