[So Kirk has some very questionable survival instincts and hit on Ivy so she turned around and pheromoned him into thinking that everyone is stalking him. No one really is but you won't be able to convince him of that.]

Don't you people have anything better to do besides follow someone around and break into their room?

May I ask what transpired?

[Hi Bruce meet Jim's babysitter.]

He treated the wrong woman poorly. My inmate, Poison Ivy, used her pheromonal ability to dissuade him from treating her as a sexual conquest.

[LE SIGH.]

Are there any lasting negative effects from the toxins?

Quite honestly, he's getting off very lightly. She could have killed him and chose not to-- which is a good step for her. He'll be disoriented for a time, but rest will clear the affects.

A fact of which I am well aware, Doctor. [The slightest edge of ice to the tone. He has met Poison Ivy, but he does not begrudge her defending herself. The Captain can be a bit of an idiot sometimes.] Unfortunately I cannot guarantee it will not happen again.

I can't promise it won't escalate if he can't learn. [ Seriously is Kirk an inmate or a Warden? ] I would prefer if he'd keep from my inmate, if at all possible. You're from the same world?

Is there anyone besides yourself and Merlin in the infirmary?

We have a few helpers, but no full timers beyond myself and Merlin. Our staff endures fluctuations due to the nature of the barge.

I request your patience when dealing with him, [He knows how hard it is, ok :|] and I would like to be notified immediately of any injuries, malaise, or any future incidents.

I'll do my best. I hope you can exert what influence you may have with him to help him learn from this.

I respect Ms. Ivy's right to defend herself, but a point of note: the Captain is aware when to leave the matter alone when the other party is uninterested.

I warned him of what she could do to him and that her interest was not genuine. He chose to pursue her anyway. Ivy and I have spoken about it, and will be doing so again, as she has apparently avoided amends for a previous incident... that went much worse.

[A brief nod. This is an impasse and in the interest of efficiency, Spock will not argue.]
