.076 - in which kirk isn't good at personal goodbyes :c
I guess I was asleep for a month.
And now I'm leaving. Things changed and I don't even really understand it but it worked out that I can, so I'm taking it and no one should be at all surprised. And maybe start a prayer chain that I never have a reason to come back because three and a half years and three Inmates is enough.
So that's it. Goodbye, Barge.

[It actually hadn't clicked. It's ridiculous, but his mind hadn't clicked around the fact that they were both going, yet.]

Maybe don't get in any stupid space battles you don't need to get into. That'll probably be a good idea.

It's been an honour to be your friend. [Even when you were teaching him drinking games and drawing on him, SEE HOW CLASSY HE IS.] I'll miss you.

[Spam] you have no choice
And maybe this didn't really either, because if we were being honest, as long as Dick stuck around here, he could still potentially pop by to say hi. But this still felt like it was something more final than usual, and he wasn't really interested in doing it over the network.
Which also had to do with the fact that Dick was still babysitting Aristotle, so after braving the distinctly less fun than they looked in the movie (and not as unusual as it probably should be, considering the kind of fiascoes he threw himself into at home) death traps in the hallway, he knocked at Kirk's door, kind of freaked out looking dog in tow.
