Actually, it is. You didn't know the risks of what you did, you did it anyway. You were lucky, not smart.

You didn't have the right to take them on behalf of the entire population of the barge. You didn't ask us how we even felt about you taking over and you likely put 'takeover of the Barge' back as a possibility to inmates who we managed to convince that it wasn't worthwhile to do so.

You put yourself before everyone else, and even aside from being a warden, a man who these people are supposed to be able to put their trust in, you hold the rank of captain, which means you're supposed to be held up as an example of your fleet. You've failed, Captain.
