"I know, I talked with them. Jesus." [He is just running a hand through his hair and taking a step back from the door so you can come in.] "What the hell happened?"

[Dick... doesn't know what to say to that. So he's just heading into the kitchen and coming back with a six pack which he is depositing on the coffee table.]

"Come on, let's go sit down."

[Yes, liquor. Just what he needs more of. Jim claims one of the beers and sits himself down.]

"It's happening soon. He said I'm twenty seven back home too."

[He'll make sure you don't choke on your own vomit or anything if you pass out. He sits down next to him and grabs one of the beers so he has something to hold, but doesn't actually start drinking it.]

"Yeah, but, he's here. And you know it's going to happen, so... I don't know, I'd say things could be worse but that feels kind of inappropriate."

"It could be worse. Enterprise could have exploded and everyone could be dead."

"Exactly." [He would smile but. :|] "Even if it happened, there's a shot something could change. Tim's deal was for Bruce, but then Steph showed up after going home and told us he was alive. So."

"Didn't Tim actually manage to graduate Sylar though?"

"Yeah, but Bruce was back when Tim went home right after Steph came back. He was alive without Tim finishing the deal. This was a couple months ago. So, maybe you'll be okay even without him finishing the deal."
