[Here Barge, look at the mess that Trip and B'Elanna made of Kirk's room. It's a smattering of wires and doo-dads and other wiring junk that you know, keeps his room functional.]
B'Elanna. Trip. I expect one of you knows how to fix this.
Actually, if anyone knows how to put it back together, I'd appreciate it. Or even if you have no idea and want to take a crack at it. It's not like you can make it worse.

[He looks reluctant to admit this but, it must be done.] My phaser went missing during the flood.
If you took it as a kid, I'll just take it back now, no foul.
If you could check your inmates for it, that would be helpful.

[ooc; Shego actually took the phaser from kid!Kirk to keep him from like, shooting someone. But he doesn't know that. He thinks one of you hooligans has it :|]
