I was not aware that anyone had perfected spontaneous and instantaneous beaming, especially without the subject's consent.

[Some papers shuffle as Kirk finds his Inmate's file. A lead! He follows it.]

If there is an individual named Miss Go aboard, I would recommend we speak at once.

[ooc: So in Kirk's never ending brilliant brain, he suggested to T'Pol that they switch their rank pips for Halloween. So that means he's stuck as Vulcan XO for the weekend. For reference's sake, Pike is his Captain. And a HUGE THANKS to Naomi for making the icons. Ilubb.]

That sounds like a neat idea, Commander! Where can I find you? I've been exploring a little bit, so I think I can go wherever you like - although I can't get into the big glass dome over the deck, it's odd.

[She spins around neatly on her heel and gives him a bright little wave.]

Hi there! You must be Commander - [Blink.] Oh my gosh, your ears!

[Then she touches her cheek and giggles.] I'm so sorry, that's awfully rude. I was just surprised.

"My ears have been a source of much amusement lately. I'm not sure I understand the fascination with them."

"It's just - well, they're so - pointy." She brushed her hair back a little to better expose her own, not-pointy ears. "I've never seen anybody with ears like yours before. Not in real life, I mean."

"All Vulcans share a number of common physical traits, including the shape of our ears. Our blood is tinted green as well, if that is of interest to you."

"Green - oh, you're talking about me now!" She nudged him with her hip. "Well gee, I wasn't always this colour. The doctors said that I mutated a little bit."

He gave her a line face in response to that hip bump and a pretty severe eyebrow arch.

"You're human."

"I sure am! Always have been. Haven't left Earth even once - oh, well, I suppose I have now. There was a little tiny incident with a meteorite when I was a kid, that's all."

"Fascinating." He wanted to run experiments on her. That would have made his Vulcan day. But he refrained from asking if he could.

"Would you like to see your file?"

"Oh! Yes, please." She held out a hand for the file. "So you're - really an alien, huh? You speak very good English."

"The word alien is relative to your native species." Kirk hands over her file. It's paper. How fancy. "All planets in the Federation speak Standard. As Vulcan was a founding member, it only makes logical sense that I speak the same language."

"I guess it does." She takes her file, scanning over it. It's peculiar - her life and the life of this other Shego are almost exactly the same up to a point but then diverge dramatically. Although she was probably pretty mean even before that point.

"Oh my gosh. This isn't me at all."

"Peculiar. I can provide no clear reason why we would be brought here with no consent and then provided with false information."

"I was talking to a lady earlier who said we might have chosen to be here but then forgot about it? But I didn't think that made a whole lot of sense." She inclined her head towards the CES door. "Can you open it?"

"I would say that a mass kidnapping is more logical than mass amnesia," Kirk agreed, staring at the door for a moment before he slid his Item out of his pocket and held it up to the door. Mostly as a guess but hey, it worked, so. He's just that good.

"I believe the expression is ladies first."

Shego giggled lightly. "Well, aren't you a gentleman?"

She stepped through the door and gasped at the forest that presented itself - as far as the eye could see, with patches of blue sky up above - startling and incongruous after the rather inorganic content of the ship.

"Oh my goodness. This is amazing!"

"Fascinating," was all Kirk had to say to convey his surprise at the change in their surroundings.

"I would not have guessed that a vessel of this nature was capable of housing this vast amount of nature."
