Angelica, I haven't thanked you for what you did for me last week. [Read: SAVE HIM FROM ZOMBIE DEATH] So here you go. Thank you and I'm sorry I didn't say it sooner.

Howie, I didn't know you could do that. [Read: STOLE MOTORCYCLES]

On another note, I may never eat clams again.

[Filtered to his friends - Enterprise crew, Tim, Cissie, Inara, even you Donny and Prentiss, if you've ever had a decent conversation with Kirk, he probably considers you a friend.]

Doing alright?

[Private to Shego]

Let's go for a walk.

I'm not saying it's impossible, but it seems less likely, that's all.

I feel like it's more inspiring of a story as opposed to a cop deciding to go rogue.

[identity profile] kingfor-aday.livejournal.com 2010-06-23 05:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Undoubtedly so. And I'm certainly not one of those - it just happens that policemen tend to know all the tricks of the trade.

[identity profile] captain-jtkirk.livejournal.com 2010-06-23 05:48 pm (UTC)(link)
That's an unfair advantage.

[identity profile] kingfor-aday.livejournal.com 2010-06-23 05:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Just a little bit, I know. Not that I make a habit of taking advantage of it. Unless, say, we needed to get somewhere fast in the face of several zombies.

[identity profile] captain-jtkirk.livejournal.com 2010-06-23 05:52 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm never going to let you forget it or live it down you know.

[identity profile] kingfor-aday.livejournal.com 2010-06-23 05:54 pm (UTC)(link)
...That's alright. I know I was doing it for the right reasons.

[Private]

Tell you a secret, actually. I've done it before.

No. Although, that time, I was 'borrowing for the use of the civil authority' and not exactly stealing.

Your morally gray compass really amazes me sometimes, you know that.

I was going to return it and doing it towards a moral end - that is preventing a much more serious crime. In the circumstances, I did not consider it immoral, especially as I left it exactly where I found it an hour later.

Private - now he's just debating for debate's sake

[identity profile] captain-jtkirk.livejournal.com 2010-06-23 08:52 pm (UTC)(link)
But you still stole it.

Private - like howie minds.

[identity profile] kingfor-aday.livejournal.com 2010-06-23 11:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Aye, I did, but I knew I was doing it for the right reasons, and that if I didn't do it, someone may have died. I could have justified it to a magistrate, if I'd ever been called upon to do so.

Did you ever try to apologize to the owner?

I actually left him a note, both apologising and explaining why I took it.
