'They're a privilege, not a right'? Bite me. What the hell would you know about having your powers thrown around like it's totally meaningless, you smug, self-righteous - you - nngh -

[And then she screams incoherently and throws her recorder across the room. There's an impressive smashing sound and then the message abruptly stops. Hissy fit? Ayup.]

You're also dead, Shego and in prison, so yes. Your powers are a privilege. When you calm down we can talk about how you can earn them back.

[Dear Kirk, half an hour later later there is a still rather irate green woman at your door. What she is doing to your door cannot in good conscience be described as 'knocking'. There is slightly more force involved. Then she stops.]

"You've made your point, okay? I get it. You're an all-powerful freakin' deity, you can ruin my life on a whim and I shouldn't have been mean to you. I'm sorry. My heart is bleeding out here."

[Kirk is sighing all the way over from his desk to the door, which he opens and gives her a look like he would give a misbehaving child, if he... ever had any kids. Which he never plans to but that's irrelevant.]

"It has nothing to do with the fact that 'you were mean to me'. I gave you more of your powers because you were behaving well in the first place. Then you went and signed up to work for the first dictator you could find and you're not sorry for it. So your powers get taken away."

"Yeah, because the sheer brilliance of your Wardening should have made me a morally transformed individual by now, right?" She glared up at him. "Spare me, Cap'n. What do I do to get them back?"

"First of all, you can start by getting a real job. One that you think is demeaning and not worth your time."

"Jimmy, I don't think any of the jobs here are worth my time. So that doesn't narrow it down a whole lot. Also, knock it off with the 'first of all' and 'for starters' and whatever. A girl might start thinking you're just making this up as you go along."

Jim shrugs a little bit. "Maybe I am," he answers. "Go work in the kitchen for a week. And no, before you ask, this isn't going to be a short process to get them back."

She looked away from him, scowling.

"I could've lied to you, y'know. Told you I'd fallen over the side, that I couldn't help what I did. Nobody saw me after the crash. You couldn't have proven I was lying."

"I could've taken away your hairdryer too, you know." Jim just watched her a moment.

"You'll get them back, you just have to work for them."

Her hands flared, but her disgust at the impotence of her current power made the glow flicker and fade almost immediately.

"Sure. Fine. Any other demands while I'm here?"

"Nope that should do it for now."
