Kirk didn't believe for more than a few passing moments that Shego was involved in the game that the Inmates were playing. She really hadn't given him the impression that she was all for killing just for the sake of killing but it didn't hurt to check. And just check up on her in general.

He went to the Infirmary first instead of her room, banking on a hunch that she was spending a lot of time in there after the recent six murders, since that was her job on Security.

And look at that, he was right. "Shego," he called, gesturing her over to where he was, somewhere close to the door.

Shego had indeed been hanging out in the Infirmary since the lunatics had shown signs of taking over the asylum, not that she expected there to be much going on in the ward. She looked up at the sound of her name and got up off her chair, making her way over to the door.
