[Which is actually a fair point. She didn't have to agree on another tour with this crew. They would have put her on any ship she requested, after the initial media frenzy died down. She could have put as much distance between Kirk and herself as she needed. Hell, she could have stayed on Earth, probably found herself a generous position with the Academy.

But they're all together still. Doesn't mean she's under any obligation to overlook all the dumbass shit he do while he's finding himself.]

[He knows. He just likes to tease. They all could have had whatever posting they wanted, that they stayed with Enterprise is touching.]

[But he is family. Granted, she's also got an uncle who comes to reunions and gets drunk and has fallen in the firepit more than once, and he's also family. Doesn't mean she's not just as glad to see him leave as she is to see him arrive.]
