"Bruce adopted Jason after he basically fired and kicked me out of the house - it was more of a you can't fire me I quit, well fine, don't come back, we're very mature, I know - and we were never that close. I didn't really see that much of him, I was busy with my team and they were busy in Gotham. He was a good kid though. He was murdered when he was sixteen. Tim came into the picture because he figured out our identities and wanted me to help stop Bruce from going off the deep end after what happened to Jason, and I don't know, maybe it was just because I was around more or maybe Tim and I just get along better, but he's been my kid brother basically since he put on the Robin costume."

[And he is taking this time to pause and make another move.] "About a year before I came here, Jason came back from the dead, but he's... different. He's tried to kill Bruce at least once, and I know he's beaten the shit out of Tim before, and I'm pretty sure he's done it more then once by Tim's timepoint, so I don't really know what to think of him. I mean, I haven't totally disowned him, but he's not the same kid, and he's taken vigilantism back to the shoot the criminals and everyone's at fault days. So, it's awkward. He's not really my brother like Tim is, but he's still more or less family. And I've basically adopted Steph since coming here, since we never really got time to hang out back home but here I've gotten to know her better, and there's another girl - Cass - who's basically family, but she's never been here, to the best of my knowledge."
