[WHAT THE HELL. Shinzon stands and...gets to the side of the door, actually, because it's safer, before opening it. He is waiting for an attack. There may be a preemptive one soon.]

[No attack but Kirk is rolling his eyes at you.] "I only get to do the cloak and dagger thing around here. Now come on."

[Well this just makes no sense. Shinzon narrows his eyes at Kirk, frowning. Hard.] Where?

"Can you not be killjoy for like five seconds?"

[He was pondering replying with a fist in the face, but otherwise was silent. To punch or not to punch. :|]

[Not to punch. That's the real answer.

Kirk stares back at him for about a minute and then he reaches out to grab him and drag him out of the room through physical force.]

[That counts as Kirk attacking first, doesn't it? Shinzon takes a step after him before twisting his arm to get the captain off him.] What are you thinking?

[Kirk frowns at him. He can't ever remember Shinzon acting like this around, except for maybe in the first days of their friendship but they got over it, didn't they?]

"What the hell is the matter with you?"

I should ask the same of you! I don't want your pity, Captain! [Which is what he's thinking this is. After the kid flood. Maybe.]

"What pity?" [Kirk snaps at him.] "What the hell's gotten into you?"

You're clearly affected by this flood. We are not friends.

"Maybe you're the one who's affected."

There is nothing in this universe that would give me cause to befriend someone like you. [Snarling now, yep.]

[Kirk manages to look wounded and pissed off at the same time. It's really magical.]

"Shinzon. It's me. Jim. Talk to me instead of being a dick for once?"

[And that's about when Shinzon snaps and tries to punch Jim in the face. :|]
