[Private to Spock and Uhura.]

Nero's here.

[Private to the Level Zero Guard Gang, so... Kahlan, Richard, Angelica, Lara and whoever else is doing it. And I suppose Angel can see it too.]

There's a new Inmate in 0 right now. He doesn't have a Warden yet. His name is Nero. He's extremely dangerous and I'd suggest simply not talking to him at all if you can help it.

So Christmas.

Who actually likes it?

"Ah yes. This would be the mutiny I've heard about?" She took a second shot, lined up a third and fluffed it, stepping away from the table with a tsk of irritation. "I'm not sure if congratulations would be in order for that sort of...achievement."

"Maybe not the actual act of it but it took a lot of skill and brain power to get into the control panel," Kirk stepped up to take his shot. Which he made, and the one after that but the third stopped just a few centimeters short and he growled slightly.

"You should be impressed by my mind, at the very least."

"Oh, I'm in awe. It seems that you're dense with hidden propensities." Not that she had any idea what sort of an undertaking it would be to get into the Barge's control room - absolutely not her area of expertise. Anything that ran off electricity was generally left to Zip.

"So how did you come by the flesh wound?"

[Spam] - excuse the fail, I'm very bad at writing dramatic monologues

Jim smiled at her a little bit, and then launched into a grand tale about how the Enterprise was supposed to secure a dilithium mine for the Federation, on a supposedly peaceful planet mind you, and the negotiations had been going very well for two days before the native changed their minds. Something about a sign from the heavens and the away team had to basically run for their lives to get back within the transporters range. While they were waiting for Scotty to get a lock on them, some of the natives caught up with them and ever the selfless captain that Kirk was, he pushed one of his ensigns out of the way and took the spear for himself.

Very daring. Very heroic. And he was sort of allergic to whatever the natives had on their weapons so that had been an extra hour of surgery and another day of careful observation in Sickbay.

"I was gonna wait a couple more days so that it healed up more but the Barge had other ideas," Jim concluded with a small shrug.

"I so dislike the idea that this ruddy contract has handed over our lives in full to the whims of an unseen, possibly insane dictator," Lara said, frowning, then softened marginally. "But at least you were able to return home, where and when you were needed."

She studied the table for a moment, then leaned almost the whole way across it to make a shot. "And rather good of you to save your ensign, which should go without saying."

"I actually think that I might've been pulled back because of Shego. Sylar attacked her like, seven hours after I got back." Kirk looked thoughtful for a moment. He couldn't really complain about it but at the same time, it was weird to think that it was going to happen and the Admiral had known about it.

"They're my crew. I'd do anything for them."
