batmanschmatman: (If I hear one more thing about John Blak)

[Spam] you have no choice

Dick is not really good at saying goodbye to people forever. It's why he still sometimes ended up hooking up with Kory when he saw her and why he and Babs had put things on hiatus instead of just saying this is never going to work. Saying goodbye forever usually meant someone was dead, and even then, with the amount of times people seemed to come back from that kind of thing, it didn't always mean forever.

And maybe this didn't really either, because if we were being honest, as long as Dick stuck around here, he could still potentially pop by to say hi. But this still felt like it was something more final than usual, and he wasn't really interested in doing it over the network.

Which also had to do with the fact that Dick was still babysitting Aristotle, so after braving the distinctly less fun than they looked in the movie (and not as unusual as it probably should be, considering the kind of fiascoes he threw himself into at home) death traps in the hallway, he knocked at Kirk's door, kind of freaked out looking dog in tow.
