A variant of shogi - Japanese chess. Due to the increased strategic possibilities, each game may require the respective players to make in excess of one thousand moves. The board is divided into 36 rows and columns, with players receiving a set of 402 wedge-shaped pieces, resulting in a combination of 253 different moves.
