[So. Flood? The ship had moved, but not much, and there'd been no Admiral announcement - but then some Wardens had gotten magic breakfasts and a couple of slightly weird updates to the network. Shego couldn't identify anything wrong with herself - not that that was always a guarantee - so it was with only a small degree of concern that she went to the dining hall, dressed in black with her hair tied up.]
[Kirk had never really appreciate how... good she looked in simple black with her hair back. This revelation made him frown a little bit, since he hadn't ever though that before... but then again... why hadn't he? It wasn't like they hadn't fooled around before and who really cared about ethics here anyway?
....Morning. [She almost took a different chair for contrariness' sake, then decided she was too tired for that and sat down in the one he'd pushed out.] So, you might as well come out with it. What's the diabolical plan for today?
And you needed to make sure you were still capable of sarcasm, clearly. [She sipped the coffee she'd brought over in lieu of breakfast.] We could spar later if you wanna make sure your ability to have your ass handed to you is still in full working order.
"You can do whatever you want with my ass." [He hadn't really meant for that to come out, but it just seemed like the right thing to do. You like a girl, you hit on her. Obviously.]
"Do I like it? You're my Warden and I have a boyfriend. I'm honestly struggling for reasons why you might leave this encounter with your nose unbroken."
[What she said made sense... But he'd never really realized how much he liked being around her. There was something about cranky people. He just loved them. But he also didn't want to get punched. It'd be really hard to have sex with her again if he couldn't breathe.]
[Well, he wanted her to leave a lot less than he wanted to be punched, so he was just going to have to use a different tactic. Like, suffering in silence.]
Shego gave him a suspicious glower as she settled back into her seat. This had to be a flood - it wasn't even that he'd been hitting on her so much as the fact he'd apologized for it. Since when did Kirk apologize for being a jerk?
Might as well test it out. She let her expression sink a little bit.
"Since you're here and you allegedly care about this kind of thing, I had a fight with Tim last night."
One more nail in the coffin. Why the hell not. Either it was a flood or the Barge coma had left him with brain damage, but either way she wanted to be a hundred per cent sure before she started ignoring every word out of his mouth.
"Well, it's not so much anything he did, it's more stuff he didn't do. I mean, after you've been with...someone else, who's better at...certain things...it's hard to settle for second best." She met his eyes evenly. "You know what I mean?"
"I'm surprised the boy wonder wasn't uptight as hell long enough to let you even try," Kirk commented. He wasn't even sure if he really believed that before today but it made sense. Tim was an uptight little paranoid weirdo. Plain and simple. "I told you being sexually frustrated is bad for your help."
"Please, if this was a flood, I'd probably have felt you up by now," Kirk pointed out. Because that's what she did to him the last time. But he really didn't think this was a flood.
"So it's a subtle flood. I do not accept that you just woke up this morning and decided that our relationship would be improved by us sleeping together. Remember the part where I have a boyfriend? Who, just to confirm, I have not been fighting with recently and who - " aand she's just going to say the next part very quietly and through semi-clenched teeth " - I have no specific criticisms of."

"Because I'm really insulting your morals?"
[Be real Shego. You have none.]
Re: spam
[She sighed heavily, abandoned her coffee and moved to stand up.]
Look, unless you've got something to say that might actually hold my attention without annoying the heck out of me, I'm going back to my cabin.

"Okay, okay. It's just a joke. I'm sorry."
